This cookie is delicious! Addictive! I’ve been doing it weekly! With freshly brewed coffee then it’s a danger! This recipe is very basic, you can create several flavors based on this base, adding whatever ingredients you like. Not to mention that making cookies is very therapeutic, right? Just check out how easy it is!
Ingredients:
100g unsalted butter
50ml of water
280g wheat flour
1/2 cup (tea) sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 dessert spoon of vanilla essence
Mix all the ingredients until you get a very smooth dough that doesn’t stick to your hands. You may need a little more flour or water to reach the ideal consistency. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes.
Shape the cookies and place them in a preheated oven at 200º until the edges are lightly browned (about 10 minutes). I used parchment paper but it’s not necessary as it doesn’t stick. After taking them out of the oven, wait 5 minutes and roll the cookies in sugar.
Important notes:
– Before using, take it out of the fridge and leave it at room temperature for about 10 minutes, as if it is too cold it will be difficult to shape.
– The water used must be at room temperature.
– They yielded 2 medium baking sheets (about 65 cookies, a little larger than a 1 real coin each).
