Here at home I always make wholemeal, or those with several grains, but I confess that I love white rice. As it is poor in terms of nutrition, one way to make it healthier is to add Quinoa to its preparation. It doesn’t change the flavor at all, but you and your family gain a lot in terms of health.

Just sauté 4 tablespoons of Quinoa together with the raw rice and the seasonings you normally use and proceed as if you were making traditional rice.

Quinoa was considered the best food of plant origin for human consumption. It is a source of high quality protein, amino acids, vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C and E, is rich in omega 3, helps to develop intelligence, alleviates PMS, treats menopause, prevents breast cancer, osteoporosis, Coronary diseases… just don’t bring your love back in 3 days because, right? You want too much!
