The rooms
With 62 rooms, the The Singular It has contemporary, discreet and extremely tasteful decor. The environments mix French neoclassical elegance with a modern touch from the beginning of the 20th century.
The rooms are spacious (from 25 to 80 m) and comfortable. Mine had two double beds, a large window that gave the room natural light. The room also had a small table with chairs, a coffee maker – always welcome – and another mini room with two armchairs. There was no shortage of places to sit in the room.

The bathroom had a shower and bathtub and a romantic painting that caught the eye. Good amenitiesbathrobe and slippers, which I love, especially in cold places, were also available.

O lobby
Upon entering, we don’t even realize we are in a lobby. hotel: a graceful, modern environment, as if there were several small living rooms and an integrated bar. Leather armchairs, sofas, small tables and beautiful lamps complete the space. A bookshelf with books gives it the feel of a library in one of the corners of the room.

The paintings and works of art spread throughout the property draw attention. It can be seen that the family is a fan of art. Point for the hotel.
Outside, a nice terrace with trees intertwined in the middle, surrounded by beautiful red flowers. Under the canopy of trees, meals are served during the hot months of the year.
In the eight-story building, handmade bricks and natural stones shape the balconies. Inside, wood, marble and wallpaper create a welcoming atmosphere. The materials used are noble and organic and responsible for the efficient and sustainable use of sunlight and air ventilation.
Still on the ground floor, the haute cuisine restaurant, led by Chef Laurent Pasqualetto, offers a menu of French dishes that mix local Chilean ingredients. I had a very high quality dinner there.

The Spa
Considered one of the best spas in Santiago, it offers four treatment rooms, a jacuzzi, a sauna and an area reserved for women only. The treatments combine chromotherapy, aromatherapy, gemmotherapy, massage therapy, music therapy and hydrotherapy, seeking to strengthen the energy centers and provide physical, mental and spiritual balance. Baths with immersion in essential oils and flowers and facial massages are also on the menu.
The gym is well equipped and has some classes, such as yoga. For those traveling with children, it is worth mentioning that the hotel is kid friendly and even has a delivery service babysitter. Look how chic!
Hotel location
I cannot help but reiterate the great location of the hotel. Lastarria is a mix of art, music, cinema, theater, literature, design and gastronomy. The neighborhood was even named a Typical Zone and is officially protected for its architectural heritage. I saw each beautiful building, in a European style, which even reminded me of the architecture of Madrid.
You can walk to several cool bars and restaurants, as Lastarria is a very lively neighborhood. And next to The Singular, is the Ruben Dario Forest Park, ideal for running, taking a walk or taking the children to play. There’s even a vibe de Central Park.

O hotel It is also close to the Gabriela Mistral Center of the Fine Arts and Contemporary Art and Visual Arts museums. Too bad we didn’t have time to visit. It will be until next time.
