  1. You all are so wrong with this, this isn't restricting and binging. A cheat meal is PLANNED. Binging is mindlessly eating with no control, it's not even close to the same.

  2. Glad I clicked this before watching the cheat meal video, lol glad to have this mindset (as a girl with eating disorders) while watching the cheat meal video 😂

  3. The last argument against the rocks approach is spot on. He's elite. The average person shouldn't mimic the rocks cheat days when there's zero chance they're mimicking his training days. It's like the 300 lb truck driver thinking he can hit a baseball like a pro hitter. Know your ability. Know your role.

  4. I can’t eat unhealthy foods every day and still b in a deficit! Having a cheat meal one a week or once every two weeks helps me keep a steady weight loss going! U reward yourself for staying strict through the week!

  5. To be fair, if a person took into account everything you guys said here first – that he's the 1%, a genetic freak, he's on anabolics, that basically they probably won't look like him anyways, then I don't think him posting this will make a person with sense think they can also follow his cheat day meal, especially if they can't follow his normal day meals or workouts. Its just an attempt to make him look more "relatable" as a personality because, well, he isn't.

  6. I see where they are coming from but he should not have to call it something different. Everybody calls it a cheat meal or cheat day. He did not make up the term. He’s just calling in with everyone else does.

  7. I would be surprised if he actually eats all that stuff. Who eats brownies, blondies, cookies, and cheesecake in one day? It’s exaggerated to generate clicks.

  8. here's the danger about "mixing in" junk food… you eventually lose track
the concept of cheat meals is that once a week you have a chance to enjoy yourself, it's planned…
6 days you eat clean, 1 day you either have one nice fat meal or a couple

  9. Cheat meals are good. A full cheat day can be a problem…. unless you train and juice like the rock.

Also depends on your goals. I am ok with not looking shredded so cheating is worth it. If you want to look your absolute best on the other hand…

  10. I disagree completely cheat meals are very important imo. Obviously if I'm in a work week and I want to squeeze a cookie or maybe a cheeseburger into my macros I will count for it. But I think it's very important if you're dieting and eating correctly even doing if it fits your macros you have a cheat day to just give yourself a reward. I find that if I have a day where I can eat the chocolate chip pancakes and sasuage and eat my favorite pizza that I won't then crave it for another week or two weeks.

  11. If i stuck my hotdog inside another bun that's not my wife's , it's called cheating! If i don't track my calories and I binge on unhealthy foods for one meal during any day out of the week, it's called a damn cheat meal. You're simply taking this concept way out of proportion.

  12. LOVE this show but I don’t agree with “sprinkling” bad foods throughout your day during the week. Personally speaking, sprinkling in bad foods during the week would cause me to fall off and start to binge. Having my one off day or one off meal that wasn’t the healthiest keeps me on track better, because once I’ve had it it’s off my mind, it’s out of my system and I don’t want it again. Sprinkling it in all week would definitely cause me to begin binging again. Love the shows!
