The Arch: boutique hotel near Oxford Street, London

News

During my last trip to London, I discovered The Arch, a charming boutique hotel near Oxford Street! Opened in 2010 and extremely well located, it bears the Small Luxury Hotels seal and its Georgian-style facade is very characteristic of the streets of the English capital. Certainly a great tip for five-star accommodation in London!

Location

The five-star boutique hotel is located on a quiet, residential street, next to Marble Arch, a historic 19th century arch, with a metro station and access to Hyde Park. The street is beautiful, very tree-lined and with houses with typical 18th century architecture. Meanwhile, on the other side we have the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. In other words, certainly a privileged location!

You know those hotels that make you feel like you’re at a friend’s house? Such is the case with The Arch! The lobby and concierge are interconnected in a relaxed way, with sophisticated and elegant environments. Furthermore, the living room with sofas, armchairs and fireplace is very cozy! The hotel also has many works of art, especially by British artists, spread throughout the rooms.

The rooms

There are 82 rooms and suites, each decorated in a unique way. Mine, for example, was the Executive Junior Suite, super cozy, which had modern decor, all in shades of blue and white. In front of the King Size bed, there was a sofa with a coffee table and an armchair, a TV, a coffee maker and a desk. The marble bathroom also had a good amount of space, including a TV in the bathtub.
