This Tuesday, the 19th, the best hotels in the world were announced, according to World’s 50 Best! The awards ceremony took place in London, at the iconic Guildhald, and it is an unprecedented list for the hotel industry. After all, the brand is already known for its rankings of bars and restaurants. This time, the list included properties in 35 destinations on six different continents. The Top 10 was dominated by Asian hotels, but the big winner was Passalacqual, located in Moltrasio, Italy. O best hotel in the world It only has 24 rooms. Meanwhile, the only Brazilian on the list was Rosewood São Paulo, in 27th position, considered the best hotel in South America! Opened in 2022, it is located within Cidade Mattarazzo, a building complex that has been completely redesigned. Indeed, a hotel that impresses with its good taste and elegance.

The best hotels in the world
The first edition of The World’s 50 Best Hotels highlighted exceptional hotel experiences around the world based on the experiences of 580 anonymous experts – including hoteliers, journalists and experienced travelers – in nine regions of the world. In second place were Rosewood Hong Kong, in China, and Four Seasons Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, in Thailand. Completing the Top 5 are The Upper House, in Hong Kong and Aman, in Tokyo, Japan.

6° – La Mamounia, Marrakech
A legendary hotel, founded in 1923 with the same gardens and walls that protected the city in the 12th century. It has been frequented by major political figures and Hollywood stars. 9th – Four Seasons Firenze, Florence
A 15th century palace, with beautiful gardens, Renaissance and elegant environments. Indeed, a fabulous property, with centuries-old trees and magnificent fountains. 10° – Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, Bangkok
Historic, from 1879, the hotel is on the riverfront Chao Phya. Without a doubt, one of the most stunning hotels we have ever stayed in! With an imposing lobby, it brings together more than ten options of bars and restaurants, with a variety of cuisines, elegant rooms with great tasteful decor, as well as an award-winning SPA. 20th – Le Sirenuse, Positano
An icon of European hospitality, Le Sirenuse was opened in 1951 by the Sersale family, who transformed the summer house into a boutique hotel. With 58 rooms and a starred restaurant, it is considered one of the mosts luxurious hotels on the Amalfi Coast and yet remains discreet.
22º – The Connaught, Londres
Historic hotel in Mayfair, opened at the beginning of the 19th century under the name The Coburg. It was visited by important authorities of the time, such as Queen Elizabeth. In a classic, understated English setting, all rooms and suites reflect a 21st century period. There is a great gastronomic offer, such as the restaurant by famous chef Jean Georges, which offers breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
23º – Royal Mansour, Marrakech
Pure luxury and elegance since 2010, the Royal Mansour does not have rooms and suites, but only riads, the Moroccan houses. Designed by King Mohammed VI, it is surrounded by beautiful gardens, and has that typical Moroccan decoration, full of colors, ornate tiles and sumptuous columns and doors! 24 – Four Seasons Madrid, Madri
Seven buildings from the 1800s have been completely renovated to bring the latest Madrid luxury hotel. The magnificent project, right in the historic center, brings together two hundred rooms spread over eight floors, as well as three great restaurants, the largest spa in Spain and the excellent service offered by the brand. 27th – Rosewood São Paulo
The first Rosewood hotel in South America occupies an area of 30 thousand square meters, in the heart of the city, close to Avenida Paulista. It impresses with its landscaping, with tropical gardens inside and around the hotel, and exclusive works of art in the decoration. There are six gastronomic spaces, 160 rooms and suites, two swimming pools, cinema, music studio, event space and spa.
29º – Le Bristol, Paris
With the Leading Hotels of the World and Oetker Collection seals, it is a palace hotel built in an 18th century mansion in 1925, in one of the most noble addresses in Paris. Le Bristol maintains its unquestionable grandeur with sumptuous halls, crystal chandeliers and beautiful gardens. Furthermore, the restaurants are true temples of French gastronomy, including the Epicure, with three Michelin stars. It certainly had to be on the list of the best hotels in the world. 31º – La Réserve, Paris
Former residence of fashion designer Pierre Cardin, the boutique hotel is just a few steps from Av. Champs Elyseés. The environments are typical of Haussmann-style apartments and 19th century Parisian classicism, and at the entrance there is a large red door. In addition to very few apartments, the luxury hotel in Paris It also has suites with a 24-hour butler, as well as excellent restaurants, one of which is starred.
35th – Four Seasons Astir Palace, Athens
Opened in 2019, the Four Seasons Astir Palace is a stunning five star resort in Athens. The property has sensational views, several swimming pools, exceptional cuisine and even private beaches. Built in a historic building from the 60s, it was completely remodeled and purchased by the Canadian hotel chain.
47th – The Savoy, London
Founded in 1889, Savoy belongs to the Fairmont chain, has four restaurants and two bars, one of which is the fifth best in the world. With a splendid location in Covent Garden, it was the England’s first luxury hotel. On the banks of the River Thames, the hotel has stunning environments and 267 rooms and suites, with stunning views, both day and night.
