This Tuesday, the 19th, the best hotels in the world were announced, according to World’s 50 Best! The awards ceremony took place in London, at the iconic Guildhald, and it is an unprecedented list for the hotel industry. After all, the brand is already known for its rankings of bars and restaurants. This time, the list included properties in 35 destinations on six different continents. The Top 10 was dominated by Asian hotels, but the big winner was Passalacqual, located in Moltrasio, Italy. O best hotel in the world It only has 24 rooms. Meanwhile, the only Brazilian on the list was Rosewood São Paulo, in 27th position, considered the best hotel in South America! The first edition of The World’s 50 Best Hotels highlighted exceptional hotel experiences around the world based on the experiences of 580 anonymous experts – including hoteliers, journalists and experienced travelers – in nine regions of the world. In second place were Rosewood Hong Kong, in China, and Four Seasons Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, in Thailand. Completing the Top 5 are The Upper House, in Hong Kong and Aman, in Tokyo, Japan.

A legendary hotel, founded in 1923 with the same gardens and walls that protected the city in the 12th century. It has been frequented by major political figures and Hollywood stars. An icon of European hospitality, Le Sirenuse was opened in 1951 by the Sersale family, who transformed the summer house into a boutique hotel. With 58 rooms and a starred restaurant, it is considered one of the mosts luxurious hotels on the Amalfi Coast and yet remains discreet.

22º – The Connaught, Londres

Historic hotel in Mayfair, opened at the beginning of the 19th century under the name The Coburg. It was visited by important authorities of the time, such as Queen Elizabeth. In a classic, understated English setting, all rooms and suites reflect a 21st century period.
