This tapioca has existed for some time under the name “Tapioca with cheese lace”. I always liked Tapioca, but I never gave much thought to this so-called “lace” until one day I decided to try it and I can no longer make my tapioca any other way. It looks so wonderful this way!!!
I wasn’t even going to post this because I thought it was one of those tips that everyone knows, but one day I made a Stories on Instagram (follow @panelaterapia) and I received a lot of comments. Then it became a little video so people could understand how it’s done.
Basically, you heat the pan a little and add grated parmesan (or curd cheese). As soon as the cheese starts to melt you and make your tapioca normally on top.
Now a tip from Aunt Tati: tapioca doesn’t need to turn in the pan or stay on the heat for too long. As soon as it comes together, take it off the heat, otherwise it will become hard and charred. Watch and she will clarify her tapioquistic ideas 🙂
