Patricia Birckholz, a blog reader, sent me a cute email and a recipe that I loved. I served the ice cream over the hot “soup” and the contrast in temperatures really pleased me, but I used ready-made vanilla ice cream. Paty made the ice cream according to the recipe and approved it. Here’s an excerpt from her email:
…”Yesterday I prepared a special dinner at home and for dessert I made a recipe for “Strawberry Soup with yogurt ice cream” which was amazing.
I got the recipe from the Nestle website, but I had the luxury of adding a few drops of vanilla essence when preparing the ice cream and a touch of condensed milk when preparing the soup. Wow, it was really incredible. I am sending the recipe as an attachment. Here’s a tip!”
