Strawberry Season Open!

Cheap strawberry season is a lot of love, right people? I bought a lot of them and two boxes turned into jelly. I already gave a recipe for strawberry jam here on the blog, but it’s been so long that I thought I’d post it again. It’s very easy to make, and it’s delicious, do you want to see it?

Blend in a blender:

  • 500g strawberries, cleaned and cut in half
  • juice of 1 large lemon
  • 50 ml of water


Pour into a tall pan (the mixture rises a lot when it boils), add 300g of sugar and stir constantly.

After boiling, keep on medium heat for about 10 minutes or until it turns into a very thick syrup. It will only reach jelly-like consistency once chilled.

As it has no preservatives, it lasts for about 1 month in the refrigerator. Makes approximately 1 and 1/2 cups of jelly.
