Strawberry and Cream with Chocolate Ganache

Easy to make, delicious dessert with a nice presentation. Makes 4 glasses (I assembled the dessert in whiskey glasses and they are quite large).

Let’s make the white cream first: In a pan, add 3 sifted egg yolks, 1 can of condensed milk, 1 can of milk (use the can of condensed milk as a measure), 1 heaping tablespoon of cornstarch (dissolve in a little milk beforehand). Cook over low heat, stirring until it boils and thickens. This cream tends to clump, don’t despair, if this happens, put it in a blender or use a mixer. Let the cream cool.

Chocolate Ganache: Place in the microwave to heat the contents of 1 box of 200g of cream. It’s not supposed to boil, just heat well (can be done on the stove too). Add 180g of chopped chocolate (I used milk) to the hot cream and stir until completely dissolved. Place in the fridge to cool down a little.

While the two creams cool, wash and chop a box of strawberries (reserve 4 of them for garnish) and whip some whipped cream. To do this, just buy fresh cream and beat it with a mixer until it thickens, adding sugar according to your taste.



Assembly: At the bottom of the glasses, place at least 2 fingers of the white cream. Top with a generous layer of strawberries, cover them with chocolate ganache. To finish, a dollop of whipped cream (if you want to use a piping tip that’s fine, but I didn’t) and a strawberry to decorate. I doubt anyone doesn’t like this dessert!
