It may seem like a prank, but this is a great technique used by many professionals and can be done at home too. The technique can lighten the hair up to three tones, as it is capable of removing the pigmentation of the strands caused by coloring. However, do not try to lighten your natural hair with this technique. This is because it won’t work and, in addition, the chemicals present in this mixture will dry out and break your strands, as the pigment in natural hair is different from the pigment in dyes.

How to make

Shampoo with anti-residue shampoo
This is a very simple way to shampoo, just use an anti-residue shampoo to remove pigmentation. This happens because this type of shampoo is more alkaline and opens the hair cuticles well, removing residue present in the hair.
The first thing you should do is divide your dirty hair into several sections. Then apply the shampoo and let it act for 40 minutes. After this process, just remove the anti-residue shampoo and, finally, use your moisturizing cream to seal the hair cuticles. You can repeat this process until you reach the desired tone.
Shampooed with bleaching powder
For this recipe you will need 10 or 20 volume hydrogen peroxide, bleaching powder and neutral shampoo, in this case anti-residue shampoo is not recommended. In a container, place two measures of hydrogen peroxide, one measure of bleaching powder and two measures of neutral shampoo. Then mix well until the mixture is homogeneous.
