Milkweed is a medicinal plant, also known as weed, cerraia, wild chicory, jealousy, widely used in gastric problems.
Its scientific name is Sonchus oleraceus and can be purchased in health food stores and some open-air markets.

Milkweed is used to detoxify the liver, stimulate digestion, increase bile production, increase appetite, combat stomach pain and, in poultice form, acts on rheumatic pain.

- Tea for poor digestion: Place 2 dessert spoons of the chopped plant in two cups of boiling water. Let it rest for 10 minutes and drink a cup before meals.
