Actress Sandra Bullock has revealed that she will take a break from her career so she can take care of her children, but should return in a few years.
Actress Sandra Bullock will take a break from her career, as she recently announced, for an indefinite period of time. In this sense, during the premiere of Cidade Perdida (2022) at the SXSW Film Festival, in Texas, she made the announcement. According to her, she intends to use the period to take care of her children, Louis, aged 12, and Laila, aged 10. She also stated: “I’m going to take some time off to be a mother”.
The revelation, which was published by Fox News, occurred during a question and answer session with the festival audience. Therefore, when asked if she was interested in continuing to produce films that address Chicano and Hispanic communities, she responded.
Bullock commented: “I love stories that show the imperfection of love within families and communities. I would love to keep doing this when I’m done being a mom. I will do this again. I do not know when. Probably when they are teenagers, reaching 16 or 17 years of age.” Currently, the actress is 57 years old.
