Starting another week! And due to my lack of time, I’m starting to apologize for the messages I can’t answer, the requests for visits, the kisses… but thank you very much for your kindness! As soon as things calm down here I will thank each and every one of you!

Now let’s get to the chicken: These are two pieces of thigh and drumstick that were left in the seasoning overnight. The marinade was made in Nigella’s style and I already gave you the tip this post.

Simply line a baking tray with aluminum (so you don’t have to wash it later), place the chicken, cover with another piece of aluminum foil and place in the oven at a preheated medium temperature for 40 minutes.

Meanwhile, wash some potatoes well (leave the skin on) and cut into 4 parts lengthwise. Place in boiling salted water for 12 minutes. Drain and reserve.

After the chicken has been in the oven for 40 minutes, remove it, add slices of bacon on top and the potatoes. Return to the oven, now without the foil and keep an eye on it: when it turns golden, it’s done.
