Delicious recipe to use up leftover rice people! You can add the ingredients you like most to your rice balls, you can create several recipes!!! The quantity is small because I only had 1 cup of rice left, but for larger quantities just increase the quantity.
Ingredients for 8 to 10 dumplings (depending on size):
- 1 cup (tea) of rice;
- 1 ovo;
- 1 tablespoon of grated parmesan;
- 3 tablespoons of mashed ricotta;
- 2 slices of chopped turkey breast;
- 1 small grated carrot;
- Salt, pepper and green scent to taste.
Mix everything. The dough is not very firm, it is not the type that you can roll using your hands. I put olive oil in a frying pan and when it is very hot I “drip” the dumplings with a spoon. Then I turn it over when it browns on the bottom.
If you want it firmer, you can add a little breadcrumbs to the dough (I don’t use it).
Serve with a little pepper sauce and it will be a hit!!
