Throughout the month of April, the restaurant on the Village Mall will offer on the menu Chocolate Pot with Tejas de Tolosa (R$ 26). Tejas de Tolosa is a crunchy almond biscuit typical of the Basque Country, and the proposal is to dip the candy in a pot with 70% melted chocolate. Escama, a fish and seafood restaurant, has a special menu (R$220), served in four stages, for the Easter holiday. Initially, the classic couvert of the house, with a woehouse, olive oil, preserves, crustacean butters, nori alga and salt flower. Following the route, between the options of entry, Cavaca folhada with beurre-blanc sauce and French pod. In the main ones, highlight the Pirarucu in the coals. And to finish, Entremet with Belgian chocolate and hazelnut cream. From Friday to Sunday, the house will offer, at the entrance, an oyster counter with sparkling wines. Given that fish are the main attraction of the menu of Good Friday and Easter Sunday, Japanese food is then a great choice. Pappagallo, in a charming 1949 house in the Jardins, offers a special menu for Easter. The suggestion to start is the Cod Croquette (R$48) with spicy aioli and green apple pickles. Of the main, the chef bets on the grilled Shrimp served with potato nhoque to black truffle sauce (R$129). The traditional sweet house Bendita Pietas brings adaptations of its classic desserts especially for Easter. The Ferrero and Bendito Toucinho pies have for a limited time the option of a themed decoration for the holiday, with an extra cost of R$22.
