The singer and former BBB Pocah is hospitalized after holding in a fart for a long time, after being embarrassed to release it in front of her husband.

Pocah, ex-BBB member and 27-year-old singer, ended up hospitalized after feeling severe pain in her stomach after holding back flatulence. At the time, Pocah was hospitalized for holding back farts because she was embarrassed to release the gases in front of her fiancé, Ronan Souza. Upon arriving at the health unit, she was diagnosed with excess gas. The woman even joked about the situation on her Twitter, saying that she was diagnosed with a “trapped fart”. Likewise, she stated that there is no shame in farting in front of her husband.

Furthermore, on her Instagram, Pocah said that she ate a large amount of snacks with her friends. Soon after, he lay down on his husband’s lap and fell asleep in his denim shorts. She believes that the piece compressed her belly, hindering digestion. Upon realizing that she was having gas, she decided to hold back the fart, embarrassed to release it in front of her husband, and went to sleep again.

Thus, on social media, she explained: “I woke up with a bizarre, surreal pain, I couldn’t stand up, just bent over. I thought it was kidney stones, appendicitis, or an umbilical hernia that I already have. I did a series of tests and what was it? Trapped fart. One piece of advice I give you, girls: don’t hold in farts, just let them out, everyone does that.”

Doctor Ben-Hur Ferraz Neto, a digestive system surgeon, explains that it is not necessary to trap gas to feel so much abdominal discomfort. In this sense, the production of excess flatulence already causes pain and swelling in the region.

Finally, the surgeon explains: “Sometimes, with excessive gas production and distension of the large intestine, the patient may experience great discomfort and feel pain similar to acute inflammatory processes in the abdomen, such as appendicitis or cholecystitis. And depending on where these gases are located, they may have difficulty leaving, causing distension and abdominal pain that leads to emergency care.”
