Ugh, how delicious is that! A silly little thing that came about in a time to use up leftovers from the fridge and has now become a breakfast star here at home. Needless to say, you can use any leftover bread (here I used French), as well as add the ingredients you like best. Look how simple it is:
I greased 2 containers with butter. I roughly chopped 1/2 a loaf of French bread (it was a very large loaf) and divided it into 2 small containers (that is, the entire loaf would be enough for 4 small containers). I added ham and mozzarella in small pieces, there is no right amount, ideally about 1/3 of the container is empty so as not to spill, then you measure the ingredients according to the size of your container. I sprinkled oregano.
I mixed 1 egg yolk, 4 tablespoons of milk and 1 pinch of salt. I poured this mixture over everything (I divided the total amount between the two pots) and put it in the microwave.
It’s worth remembering that the power of each microwave varies a lot depending on the brand, so after 1 minute I suggest stopping the microwave and checking to see if the liquid has dried.
