This personality test is a simple tool to discover your personality style. It was based on the questionnaire Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), which analyzes up to 16 different personality types.
Discovering your personality style can help you better deal with your personal difficulties and make communication more efficient, as well as helping you identify skills that can be developed and/or make decisions more consciously.
To discover your personality type, take our test, selecting in each question the answer option that best describes you in each situation:
This test is only a guidance tool and therefore does not replace consultation with a specialized psychologist for a more detailed personality assessment.
What the personality test assesses
This personality test was based on a 50-question version of the test Myers-Briggs Type Indicatoralso known as MBTI, which assesses personality type by taking into account each person’s preferences when answering questions.
However, for a more complete assessment of your personality, it is recommended to consult a psychologist specialized in this type of assessment.
Taking care of your health has never been easier!
Who can take the test
Although the personality test can be taken by anyone who can read and understand the questions and answers, it is usually more suitable for people over 13 years of age.
What is it for
Personality testing can help you:
- Discover skills: by identifying strengths and areas in which the person naturally tends to excel;
- Choose a profession: it can help to identify the type of work in which the person would perhaps feel happier and/or would be more successful, depending on their characteristics;
- Make more conscious decisions: because it can help a person understand how their own decisions are typically made;
- Overcoming your own difficulties: by understanding their personality, the person can develop more effective strategies to overcome their difficulties;
- Communicate better: It can help people relate better by realizing what their natural communication and behavior is like.
Therefore, by taking the personality test, the person can identify areas of interest that they would like to develop and better plan their professional and personal future.
How the test works
The personality test has 50 questions with 2 to 3 answer options. For each question, the person must choose the answer option that they most identify with and, therefore, there are no right or wrong answers.
Each question belongs to one of 4 categories (energy, perception, judgment and guidance) and each category presents 2 opposing possibilities of characteristics that may predominate in the person’s personality.
Thus, in the energy category, personality is classified as extroversion or introversion; in the perception category, in sensorial or intuition; in the judgment category, in thought or feeling; and in the guidance category, in judgment or perception.
Each answer has a value from 0 to 2 and the sum of each question in the same category helps to identify a predominant personality characteristic. The end result is a combination of 4 characteristics, making 16 different personality types possible.
What can influence the result
The main factors that can influence the result are:
- Not feeling well when taking the test;
- Being going through a period of difficulty;
- Not answering questions according to your true preferences;
- Difficulty concentrating on the test, due to worries or stress, for example.
Due to these factors, the test may not be able to accurately assess personality and, sometimes, may give an answer that the person does not agree with. Therefore, it is important to take the test on a calm day and when you are feeling well.
