The bathroom, equally huge, with a sink on each side, super practical. All in marble, there was a beautiful bathtub in the center and controls so that the environment could have a spa atmosphere, with lighting and music suitable for relaxing during the bath. In addition to an abundance of amenities, always useful when we are away from home.

A spacious and comfortable bathroom, in other words, everything we love!

Soft colors

The mix of white, beige and gray gave the room a lightness. There were also a lot of wooden elements, like certainly one of the most beautiful doors I’ve ever seen in hotels. A sophisticated, modern and cozy environment at the same time. Furthermore, the view of the greenery was a breath of fresh air in the midst of the great metropolis that is the Japanese capital.

The restaurants

This five-star hotel in Tokyo has three restaurants: grill, one Cantonese and the third, international. Peter Grill, open for both lunch and dinner, surprises with its magnificent view of Tokyo from 24th walk and exuberant decor. On the menu, fresh cuts of meat and seafood, including dry-aged Japanese beef and grilled scallops from Hokkaido. I had a splendid dinner there, where everything was impeccable, from the burrata, to the scallops and the succulent meat to dessert. Furthermore, the exquisite service cannot be overlooked either. In fact, I liked the Peter Grill bar so much that I went back the next day for a drink.

O Hei Fung Terrace is the ideal place for a sophisticated Cantonese dinner in Tokyo. At lunch, bamboo baskets full of the chef’s classics. Meanwhile, at dinner, the highlight is the pork dishes.

Every Peninsula hotel has a restaurant in the lobby. This five-star hotel in Tokyo is therefore always very busy, open from morning to night. An international menu, which pleases Greeks and Trojans, from Italian to Japanese dishes, which includes fresh fish from the local market.

THE SPA

Without exaggeration, certainly one of the grandest spas I’ve ever seen, measuring 17 thousand m². With oriental, ayurvetic and European treatments, an excellent urban oasis. In fact, the highlight is the 20-meter swimming pool, with crystal-clear, heated water and an extraordinary view of the Imperial Palace Gardens and Hibiya Park. Watching the sunset there was certainly one of the best experiences of my stay. It opens from 6 am to 10 pm and only those over 16 are allowed entry.

Finally, among so many designer hotel options in the Japanese capital, the Peninsula, a five-star hotel in Tokyo, is therefore a clear choice that combines comfort, luxury, sophistication and discretion in the same place.
