Sweet cakes and pies

The cream base of this pavé is similar to that of Dutch pie. Before you start whining about the amount of butter and cream, I warn you: this recipe is a calorie bomb, even my friends and there is no way to replace the ingredients, if you want a lighter sweet treat, there are several options here on the blog, I suggest the ricotta pie with apricot, or the bowl of gelatin with cream or even this pudding.

Now let’s move on to the pavé recipe, which is a calorie bomb, but it’s divine hahaha!

Ingredients:

  • 200g cold unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 2 cans of whey-free cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup roasted and ground peanuts
  • 1 package of cornstarch biscuits

Beat the sugar and butter in a mixer until it forms a white cream. Add the cream, essence and peanuts and mix with a spatula.

In a single container or individual pots (6 to 8 depending on size), alternate layers of cream and cornstarch biscuits, starting and ending with the cream. Take it to freeze.

When serving, sprinkle with peanut flour (roasted and ground peanuts).
