Passion Fruit Pie

Sweet cakes and pies

I made this recipe at the request of Delícia margarina, as they wanted a recipe from Panelaterapia in fan page from them.
I’m about to say it was the best passion fruit pie I’ve ever eaten. Very good indeed!!! And although it is necessary to follow some steps, it is easy to do, do you want to see?



to massa:

– 200g of milk biscuits crushed in a blender or processor

– 5 tablespoons of margarine or unsalted butter (I used Delícia margarine)

Mix the ingredients until you form a very moist crumb. Line the bottom of a 22cm diameter springform pan and refrigerate while you prepare the mousse.

For foam:

1 pack of condensed milk (395g)

1 package of cream (200g)

1 box of passion fruit flavored gelatin

Passion fruit juice (about 50ml) passed through a sieve (reserve the seeds)

Dissolve the gelatin contents in 50ml of boiling water, place in a blender with the other ingredients and blend well enough to mix. Place in the fridge for about 15 minutes, just to start to harden. Place the mousse over the dough and keep it in the fridge for 1 hour until the next step.

To the roof:

Prepare ½ glass of passion fruit juice as if you were going to drink it, but more concentrated, with less water. Sweeten according to your taste. Bring to a boil and heat without letting it boil. Add 1 dessert spoon of colorless gelatin (prepare according to the package, see –> here how to prepare it). Mix well and refrigerate. When it reaches the “egg white” stage, place it over the mousse. Decorate with seeds.
