Nutella Pie with Strawberries

I didn’t follow Cláudia’s recipe, in fact I was going to make a nutella brownie, but as I made it in a round pan, when it came out of the oven I thought it would be good covered with ganache and decorated with strawberries. And that’s what I did!

Nutella cake:

1 cup of wheat flour

1/2 teaspoon of salt

2 eggs

4 tablespoons of hazelnut paste (Nutella or another brand)

150g melted dark chocolate

1 cup of sugar

1 cup softened butter

Preheat the oven to 200º. Grease a small baking tray with butter, sprinkle chocolate or chocolate powder on it and set aside.

In a bowl mix the butter, sugar and eggs. Then add the hazelnut cream and melted chocolate and finally the flour and salt.

Pour into the prepared pan and bake for about half an hour.

After baking, you must moisten the pie well, because it is a firmer dough. I made a mixture of 150ml of milk and 50ml of almond liqueur and poured it over the dough.

Coverage (Ganache):

150g of cream

120g semi-sweet chocolate

Heat the cream well and mix with the chopped chocolate until it melts completely. Place in the fridge for a few minutes to firm up before covering the cake.
