We were invited to the inauguration of new rooftop at the JW Marriott Rio de Janeiro, o Moonlounge, which has free entry and musical programming from Thursday to Saturday, from 7pm until 1am.
O rooftop It has the privilege of a view of the famous Copacabana Beach, and arrives at a good time, as it is summer and a good option is to have a few drinks outside. With sofas, chairs and high tables, the atmosphere is cozy and the menu, created by chef Thomaz Leão, has very light options, such as octopus vinaigrette, antipasti, cheeses and cold cuts.
During the day, the rooftop It is open to non-guests from 10am and until 10pm from Wednesday to Sunday, except from Thursday to Saturday when it is open until 1am. On Thursday, Guilherme Pimenta Trio commands the sound with a lot of MPB and on Friday, music producer Tuan Pim with electronic music and deep house. On Saturday, lots of jazz, soul and R&B with saxophonist Diogo Acosta. In other words, there is an option for all musical tastes!
During the event, we were also treated to the moonrise, making the name Moonlounge gain even more meaning. Do you want a better combination than this?
