The restaurant
Piccini has an environment reminiscent of the houses in southern Italian villages. And it actually transports you to small Italian towns, both in the atmosphere and in the food. Commanded by Samuel Rodrigues, who has 11 years of experience at the Fasano Group, the place has a balcony and two rooms at the entrance, where a pastry shop is also installed, from where all the pasta dishes on the menu come from. The facade with stone cladding, large windows and arched doors is very charming, with a pleasant balcony, full of hanging plants, inspired by old, typically Tuscan taverns. Furthermore, in the lounge, there is also a beautiful drinks bar, semi-open kitchen and good space between tables.

The menu of the new Italian restaurant in Jardins
With winter in mind, the menu created by Chef Denis Orsi offers two starters and three main dishes, along with other classics and reinterpretations already loved by the public. Among them, the Arancini all’amatriciana (R$38), a traditional cake from the Sicily region, filled with pancetta ragu and the Bruschetta di brie e prosciutto (R$42), made with brie, prosciutto and pomodorini sauce. Furthermore, the traditional Tonnarelli cacio e peppe (R$78) is a great choice for colder days.

My experience
I had the pleasure of trying the menu that covers all regions of the country and offers typical starters, such as, for example, meat carpaccio, tuna tartare, a delicious burrata and polenta with sausage ragu. Meanwhile, the main dishes include traditional pasta, such as gnocchi and spaghetti, as well as risotto (in fact, I ate one of the best pomodori and gamberi of recent times).
Furthermore, for dessert, there was a very light tiramisu and mille feuille.

The address is noble and as a reference point, it is in front of Fasano. Therefore, impossible to forget!
