Nest Milk Sweetie

Sweet cakes and pies

To be nest milk sweet It’s become fashionable for a while now, but I already ate it as a child! I also made a version with chocolate milk and when I didn’t have condensed milk I used water hahahahaha. Good memories!

You can use any brand of powdered milk, it doesn’t have to be the Nest. This amount of ingredients yields 20 to 30 sweets, depending on the size you roll.

Just mix:

1 cup of powdered milk and half a can (or box) of condensed milk. It will turn into a somewhat sticky mixture, so just add icing sugar (fine) until smooth (more or less 1/2 cup). Don’t worry, it won’t be too sweet.

You can make it with refined sugar instead of icing sugar, but the texture of the sweet made with icing sugar is much better. The point of the dough is when it comes away from your hands and becomes like modeling clay. Then just roll it up and roll it in sugar (I like to use refined sugar for this step).

You can make these sweets 2 days in advance of the date you are going to serve them, but store them in a covered box to prevent them from drying out (in a cool, dry place). It lasts a total of up to 7 days but it dries out over time, so the fresher the better.
