Natural Straightening Results

The level of straightening that this procedure offers produces different results for different types of hair.

  • For those with wavy locks, for example, the result is a more natural straight look with little frizz.
  • If your hair is curly, the result will be more like wavy locks than straight.
  • Finally, for curly hair, the results are more controlled curls.

Long-Term Straightening Treatment

It is important to be clear that this treatment offers long-term straightening results, that is, on the first application of the mixture it will not be possible to observe straight strands.

The more times you perform this procedure, the more you will see your hair becoming more beautiful and tending to be smoother.

Pay attention to frizz

As this type of natural straightening is chemical-free, you will not have effective control over hair frizz, so it is worth investing in a good anti-frizz product.

Natural Straightening Recipe with Cornstarch, Milk and Sugar

Ingredients:

  • 3 spoons of cornstarch
  • 1 cup sugar (preferably white and refined)
  • 200 ml of milk (preferably goat’s milk, but if you want, you can use cow’s milk)

How to make the mixture:

  • The ingredients should be mixed in a pan over low heat.
  • Keep stirring until you notice that it has a texture close to porridge.
  • Then turn off the heat.

With this mixture ready, we must move on to the correct way to apply the natural straightening product to the hair.

How to apply the natural straightener:

Step by step

  • 1 – You should wash your hair twice with an anti-residue shampoo so that it is as clean as possible.
  • 2 – Only remove excess water with a towel, do not dry completely.
  • 3 – The natural straightening mixture with cornstarch, milk and sugar should be applied to the hair while it is warm.
  • 4 – Wrap the hair inside a cap and wait for 3 hours.
  • 5 – After this period, wash your locks with plenty of water, taking care to completely eliminate the product from your hair.
  • 6 – Apply conditioner to the hair and wait 5 minutes. If you prefer, you can replace the conditioner with a treatment ampoule that works in 3 minutes. Rinse off the chosen product.
  • 7 – Use a wide comb to untangle the hair. To finish, apply a leave-in of your choice, preferably with thermal protection.

Tip – This natural straightening can be done up to twice a week and as it is a natural product, it has no contraindications.
