The so-called indie brands are arriving on the market now, but they have already won over a specific audience, who care about the composition of these products, and even more so how they are made. Thus, natural, organic and traditional cosmetics are sharing space in the traditional cosmetics market.
However, there are still many doubts regarding this subject, since natural and organic cosmetics are often confused. Although both have natural ingredients in their composition, the two are not the same thing.

Natural cosmetics
Basically, natural cosmetics are those where all classes of ingredients, from the base, fragrance, additives to preservatives and active ingredients are from natural products, that is, of vegetable, mineral or animal origin. In technical definition, by the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service, natural cosmetics cannot contain any type of chemical additive in their composition. Such as: synthetic dyes, synthetic fragrances, propylene and petroleum derivatives, ammonia, silicone, genetically modified or tested on animals.
Furthermore, it is defined that natural cosmetics must have at least 95% of all content, natural raw materials. The remaining 5% can be completed with certified synthetic substances, as long as they are not prohibited raw materials.
Therefore, these natural products have a much gentler formula, and anti-inflammatory, calming active ingredients rich in antioxidants. In toxicological terms, these ingredients of natural origin are safer; Therefore, they are less aggressive and cause fewer allergies.
Difference between natural, organic and conventional cosmetics

- Conventional cosmetics: These products, the most common ones, do not necessarily require environmental certification. However, they need to comply with the regulations of the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA). AymaraUna
The name of the brand already shows a little of what it is about, AymaraUna, a Tupi name that means black tree. This natural products brand was officially born in 2017, but since 2014 its founders had been thinking about a business that combined nature and technology in a healthy way. The independent brand has a line of natural, vegan, minimalist, biodegradable cosmetics free of any synthetic ingredients.
