Husband loves it cheddar McMelt. And although I know I’m going to take it in my head for writing this: I’m not the type of person who doesn’t eat a snack full of preservatives, dyes, worms, newspaper, etc… lol…. I eat (don’t repeat this at home)! But, honestly, I don’t like Uncle Ronald’s snack. It should be for a matter of conscience, but it is for taste. I prefer Burger King and even more Subway (that oatmeal and honey bread is fantastic)!
But none of them are the same for me as homemade. So this time I really wanted to convince my husband that my Tati-McMelt it was better.
My homemade hamburger only uses 1 kg of ground flank steak.. Attention! Diapers for making hamburgers are everything in life! Mixed with 1 packet of onion soup (or cream), 4 tablespoons of olive oil and a Cadima of black pepper. ONLY! For me it’s the best hamburger in the world! I don’t like adding moistened bread, eggs, flour, green scent, anything like that. After I made this most basic version, I never make the others again. I like it rustic, shaped in the hand and very tall. We add salt later, if necessary, so the meat doesn’t dehydrate.
For the version of Tati-McMelt I used cheddar and onion slices. I cut the onion into thin slices and cooked it over low heat until golden. Then I added a few drops of balsamic and soy sauce.
I wanted to make rustic potatoes, but I I prayed. Next time I’ll do more!
