Since I first tasted the 3 flavors (guava, dulce de leche and chocolate) of the Casa dos Frios Roll Cake I went crazy! Addicted! It’s soooo good!!! For those who don’t know, Bolo de Rolo is a very thin pastry with many layers of filling and a light sugar crust. As it is a regional product, only those who lived or went for a walk in Pernambuco had access to the original version of the recipe, but, to our delight, it is now possible to buy it online at Virtual store from them!!! And get home quickly!

I always have some Roll Cakes in the freezer (they can be frozen perfectly), I think it’s really charming to serve a dessert with them. I take advantage and leave as a suggestion the “Romeo and Juliet of Pernambuco“: I add a slice of the guava flavored Roll Cake, covered with a spoonful of creamy guava jam and a spoonful of cream cheese. It’s crazy!!!

As it is a handmade product, the flavor is very special! A recipe that Casa dos Frios has mastered for 40 years like no one else, as it is the largest and most traditional producer of roll cakes in Pernambuco, producing around 1 ton per day to supply its own physical stores and orders from across the country. . It’s a lot of cake, my people!!!
