Of the seven beaches that make up the Morro de São Paulo scene, four are busy and three are deserted.
The busy ones are named in numerical order from First to Fourth with countless stalls and inns around and close to the shops.
The deserts are more extensive and difficult to access, with low infrastructure and provide paradisiacal views.
First Beach
Close to the center, the beach is usually the most visited. The 300 meters of sand are divided between tourists and stalls serving delicacies such as sururu and sarapatel. There are also summer houses and guesthouses around. Because it has strong waves, it tends to attract surfers.

Second Beach
A little bigger than the first, this beach is 400 meters full of tents and close to the village, where the nightlife is.
During the day, bathers enjoy the clear and calm waters of the beach, as well as athletes enjoying sand volleyball and footvolley, while at night young people have fun at the constantly held luaus.

Quinta Praia
Also called Praia do Encanto, it is one of the least frequented by tourists as it is six kilometers away. At high tide access becomes even more complicated. To get there, one option is to go by carriage. There are no bars and stalls in the region. However, the lack of infrastructure makes up for it with its pristine appearance.
Garapuá
This small fishing village has natural pools of warm waters surrounded by reefs and fish. Diving enthusiasts stop to have fun amidst the waters and marine species. To get there, it takes two hours on foot or one by boat.
Gamboa
Away from the hustle and bustle, this beach is in a fishing village. It is perfect for sailing sports as it is in front of a bay, which allows for favorable breezes. It can be reached after a 40-minute walk or fifteen minutes by boat.
