Of course, one of my trips to Chile was going to the supermarket hahahaha. Guys, in the Costanera shopping center there is a Jumbo supermarket that is beautiful! It has products from all over the world!
I bought a lot of food at Jumbo! And one of them was this rice with curry, peppers and mushrooms. Simply add the contents to 400ml of boiling water with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and cover until dry.
Very angry with me for only buying one package! It had several other flavors. See here on their website. But that’s ok, I bought several other things: cookies, chocolates, rice paper, ginger paste, mustard, Pisco, chestnuts… I don’t even remember.
The rice is very tasty, I served it with a bit of filet mignon with ginger and soy sauce. It was a show!
If you’re going for a walk around Santiago, it’s definitely worth a trip to the supermarket, it’s great for buying souvenirs. Costa chocolates that are made there (although they are available at Walmart) are delicious.
