If there's one thing that makes any day tastier, it's a homemade cake, right? And if it's carrot, with that irresistible chocolate coating, even better! Today, I'm going to share with you an easy and delicious recipe that will conquer your taste buds. So, put on your apron and let's go!
Ingredients:
- Half a cup of tea or 120 milliliters of oil
- 250 grams or 2 cups of peeled carrots and cut into medium cubes
- 1 cup of tea or 150 grams of wheat flour
- 1 cup of tea or 200 grams of sugar
- Half a tablespoon of baking powder
Chocolate Broth:
- 1 cup of tea or 95 grams of chocolate powder
- 400 milliliters of milk
- 2 tablespoons or 30 grams of butter
- Half a cup of tea or 100 grams of sugar
- 2 tablespoons or 10 grams of cornstarch
Cake Preparation Method:
- In a blender, add 2 eggs, half a cup of oil and the cut carrots. Beat well until it becomes an irresistible orange mixture.
- In a bowl, add 1 cup of wheat flour, 1 cup of sugar, half a tablespoon of baking powder and pour the blender mixture. Mix everything vigorously until it forms a wonderful dough.
- Pour the dough into a lightly buttered microwave ovenproof dish. Now, the fun part: microwave for 8 minutes at full power, pausing every 2 minutes to ensure the cake is perfect.
- As soon as you take it out of the microwave, unmold the cake while it's still hot, cover generously with chocolate syrup and get ready for an explosion of flavors!
How to Prepare Chocolate Broth:
- In a bowl, mix 1 cup of chocolate powder, 400 milliliters of milk, 2 tablespoons of butter, half a cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cornstarch.
- Place in the microwave for 2 minutes, remove, mix well and return for another 2 minutes. Repeat until the mixture is divinely creamy.
- Once cool, pour the syrup over the cake. Oh, and if it's a little thick, don't hesitate to add a little milk until it reaches the desired consistency.
