Located in the heart of most typical neighborhood in Lisbon – Alfama – next to the Cathedral and São Jorge Castle, Memmo Alfama was the first of the boutique hotels in Lisbon in the historic area of the city. The streets are narrow with typical shops and famous fado houses. Being in a historic building, some of the 42 accommodations are small but cozy. Furthermore, many have views over the Tagus River and Alfama. The feeling is that we are in a Portuguese house, for sure. The kindness of the staff also helped us feel very comfortable.
