We were at lunch at the luxury hotel chain Rosewood, in Rio. The directors of some of the hotels Rosewood spoke to a small group of journalists at the Bazzar restaurant, in Ipanema.
Anyone who follows us knows that we are fans of the brand Rosewoodand that, in fact, we just stayed at the Carlyle Hotelin NY, which belongs to the network’s portfolio.
But this meeting was with directors of hotels that we dream of, all resorts, in paradisiacal places! The first is Jumby Bay, on the island of Antigua, in the Caribbean, where we have already stayed and loved it! Accessible only by boat, this private island has one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen in my life, with very white sand and clear, calm water. The ideal destination for couples in Honeymoon or simply for those who want to relax, Jumby Bay, is a 300-acre private island with 40 private suites and villas with 2- to 4-bedroom homes.
The ideal is to take a flight from Miami and in three hours, you will arrive in Antigua. To read the full post by Jumby BayClick here.
Another class A hotel that we love is Las Ventanas al Paraiso in Baja California, Mexico. With exemplary service, wonderful food and architecture that speaks very well to the region, Las Ventanas enchants any guest looking for peace and quiet days. It faces a beautiful beach with the Pacific sea but its must Even the beautiful pools are where you don’t want to leave.
Located exactly between two cities: São José del Cabo and Cabo São Lucas, the hotel – a favorite destination for Hollywood celebrities – is two hours by plane from San Diego and three from Los Angeles. To read the full post with our impressions of Las Ventanas, click here.
The third hotel in the chain and the only one we haven’t seen yet is Little Dix Bay, in the British Virgin Islands, which has just turned 50! With a privileged location, access is via Miami and San Juan, then just take a boat, where guests begin to check in – a Lux!
With a turquoise blue sea, surrounded by greenery, the Virgin Islands are the ideal place for those who want to practice water sports and enjoy nature.
In total, there are four restaurants with contemporary cuisine and touches of local cuisine, and with a paradisiacal view of the Caribbean sea. Little Dix Bay, wait for me, I intend to meet you soon!
