I had a sensational lunch at the hotel’s Epicure restaurant The Bristolem Paris, certainly the best of my trip. With three Michelin stars and led by the famous chef Eric Frechonthe restaurant is impeccable, from the food, to the service and the beautiful view of the gardens of Le Bristol, from Leading Hotels of the World.
Lunch at Epicure restaurant
It was four hours at the table, forgetting everyday problems; an exceptional experience, having the chance to taste the cuisine of what is considered one or, perhaps, the best restaurant in Paris. Oh boss Eric Frechon makes a kitchen based on terroir and mixes unusual ingredients, like one of its most sought after dishes, the wonderful macaroni with black truffles and artichokes with foie gras, gratin with parmesan cheese. Unforgettable dishes that never leave my memory and that take diners from all over the world to Paris just to taste them.
Desserts and cheeses
I cannot fail to mention the three super balanced desserts, with emphasis on the delicious and fun chocolate sphere, the cheese cart, which you can eat while praying and the macaroons and chocolates neatly organized in drawers, served with the coffee.
The care for details, the impeccable presentation – which make the dishes become true works of art – define a standard of quality that impresses even the most demanding and that we noticed in each movement of the staff during the meal, in an absurd synchronicity, like if it were a ballet show. Unforgettable, my lunch at the Epicure restaurant.

For that very reason, the Epicure It’s a restaurant to go to without rushing. And I thought my lunch at the Epicure restaurant was great, since at dinner, it would be more difficult to sleep right after. During the summer it is possible to eat outside, which didn’t happen when I went, but just having the view of the garden fills us with joy, as if we were looking at a Renaissance painting.

Epicure is a more than special restaurant, as it probably Eric Frechon is the most respected chef in France today. Probably the best restaurant in Paris. And I’m not just talking about the food itself. From the moment we enter the sumptuous hall, we are transported back in time, and immersed in a Belle Époque palace, as if we were in a film.
About Hotel Le Bristol
In the middle of Rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré, one of the most elegant in Pariso The Bristol is located in a building so important that it served – and still serves – as the residence of french court in 1715, when the nobles left Versailles, after the death of Louis XIV, and took up residence in Paris.
The hotel was opened in 1925, when Paris it was at its peak and attracted artists, intellectuals and designers, such as Balenciaga, Chanel, Schiaparelli, Picasso, Mondrian and Dali, who frequented the hotel, which served and still frequently serves as a setting for fashion editorials and various filming.
The restaurant is open from Sunday to Monday, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
