Certainly a hotel rich in history

The building

Le Mount Stephen’s Victorian building has a French-style façade. Italian Renaissance, with beautifully carved gray limestone walls. The house has a basement, first and second floor and attic. Just some of the environments were modified from the original design. At the Inside, – designed by several Italian and Scottish artists – there is a mix of styles. Therefore, a lot of wood was used, of high quality, by the way, as well as marble and hand-painted stained glass.

In addition, there are also 10 fireplaces with custom onyx. The door handles, as well as the details on the ceiling, are impressive as they are made of 22-carat gold. Furthermore, the imposing central staircase draws attention and is a perfect setting for photos. The most interesting thing is precisely this mix of old and new, as just ahead, the lobby is very modern.

The second building

While the restaurant, bar, meeting rooms and lobby are located in the historic building, the rooms themselves are in a more modern building. In other words, what is interesting is precisely the absolute harmony between the two.

The connection between the modern and the ancient

bedrooms

There are 90 rooms divided into 6 categories (21 suites, divided into 6 more), with elegant and contemporary decor. Furthermore, they are extremely technological. In other words, you control everything digitally: curtains, lights and air conditioning. Several sockets, USB port and even HDMI port available.

The hallway to the rooms

While in mine, a lot of daylight came in, at night it became pitch black, with the black out automatic that worked perfectly. There was also no noise at all, despite it being in a very busy neighborhood. The king size bed was super comfortable, as were the sheets, super soft. The white color contrasted with dark colors in a modern and harmonious environment. Therefore, right at the entrance was the work table, with a Nespresso coffee maker and the cabinets.
