Buying and selling the loft
In 2017, Jennifer Lawrence purchased the property for just over $9 million. However, after five years, the actress wants to profit from the sale. This is because in addition to Manhattan being highly valued in the United States, the Oscar winner recently suffered a huge loss.
A few years earlier, Jennifer would have advertised her penthouse in the city for US$15.45 million but was only able to sell it for US$9.9 million.

The building in which the loft is located was built in 1882 and operated as a book binding factory. Recently, in 2016, the space was transformed into a residential building with a series of lofts.

After an extensive transformation, the place went from an old factory to a luxury home. In the construction, there are still several historical details such as the wooden beams and support columns that serve as a divider between the dining and living rooms.
