Every day, Academia da Cachaça offers a delicious feijoada in a clay pot, prepared with beef jerky, ribs, loin, paio and thin sausage. Furthermore, the meal, which is served for lunch and dinner, comes with rice, cabbage, farofa, orange and a dose of “melzinho”. Certainly a classic feijoada restaurant in Rio!

Zeca Pagodinho Bar

Bar do Zeca Pagodinho, whose trademark is good music, food and cold beer, offers every Friday, at the Barra da Tijuca location, feijoada with an open buffet (R$ 65), between 12pm and 4pm. Thus, Boteco’s food expert chef, Toninho Momo, signs the feijoada, which is accompanied by sausage, white rice, dry pork rinds, sliced ​​cabbage, house-made farofa and orange slices. Located in Copacabana, in the South Zone, the gastrobar features a feijoada, on Sundays, with a selection of meats, steaming beans, homemade seasoning, farofa, cracklings and braised cabbage. From Friday to Sunday, Escama offers seafood feijoada with squid, octopus, mussels, fish of the day, chorizo ​​farofa and cabbage (R$90 for an individual / R$170 for two). On January 13th, at 2pm, the Fairmont Rio opens the Carnival 2024 season, with the traditional feijoada by executive chef Jérôme Dardillac. Fuska Bar is a family business that opened its doors 32 years ago, on Rua Capitão Salomão, in Humaitá. Known for its sidewalk tables, bar cuisine, cold beer and good music, the bar is a meeting point for locals and tourists. On weekends, Fuska’s traditional complete feijoada (with rice, farofa, cracklings, cabbage and orange) is served (R$42). In fact, on January 21st, there will be a samba circle with Grupo De Any Maneira, starting at 1pm. On Tuesdays, the double dose promotion for all drinks continues, starting at 5pm.

About to complete 40 years of history in Rio, Gula Gula will serve the house’s Feijoada every day of Carnival. Thus, the recipe, which is traditionally only served on Sundays, will be on display from February 10th to 13th, in all restaurant units, at lunch and dinner. The special suggestion features feijoada served with noble meats, bacon and sausage, cabbage, farofa and orange (R$ 77). To accompany it, a drink was created that will only be offered during the same period, Folia, which contains Magnífica cachaça, lemon, passion fruit, basil and homemade ginger syrup (R$ 35). And, as it is Carnival, the cocktail will be served in double doses.

Considered one of the most typical recipes of Brazilian cuisine, feijoada is full of flavor and history. Therefore, Hills, at the foot of Pão de Açúcar, presents the traditional feijoada (R$ 99 – 2 people) from Friday to Sunday, at lunch and dinner times. The meal includes cooked black beans, paio, ribs, pork filet mignon and jerky. Therefore, among the garnishes are white rice, cabbage, pork rinds, fried banana, cassava and orange noisette. In fact, to accompany the classic recipe, there is a varied drinks menu, including drinks, wines, sparkling wines, beers and non-alcoholic options.

ORG Bistrô certainly stands out not only for being a restaurant with sustainable practices, but also for its delicious, natural and organic food. The menu designed by chef Tati Lund is surprising and pleases even non-vegetarians. However, as the subject is feijoada, the establishment serves the classic vegetarian meal (R$ 60), with brown rice and flaxseed, beetroot farofinha and cabbage in garlic. It’s so worth it!

A success for 10 years, VillageMall’s traditional feijoada season is back from February 3rd. On every Saturday of the month, until the 24th, at lunch time, customers will find many options and some variations of one of the most famous typical dishes in the country. In the 2024 edition, some new features for the public, such as presentations by the Escola de Samba Imperatriz Leopoldinense and Bloco Orquestra Voadora, as well as a samba circle, DJ, and the presence of the muse Renata Santos. Throughout the event, which will take place from 1pm to 6pm, a complete feijoada buffet will be offered with a variety of meats, served separately, as well as salads, hot dishes and delicious desserts, all prepared by the chefs at Rede Windsor. Guests will receive an abadá, which will guarantee entry to the feijoada. Children up to 5 years old will be free. From 6 to 10 years old, the discount will be 50% of the value applied to the adult. Children aged 11 and over pay the full amount.
