The international Emmy, an award that celebrates television programs from around the world, welcomed several Brazilians to its red carpet.
Last Monday (22) was memorable for many of the stars of television programs around the world. The international Emmy, held in New York, United States, was attended by several celebrities.
In this sense, as always, the looks on the red carpet gave something to talk about. The event, which celebrates the best in global television, becomes practically essential for the most invested fans of series, miniseries and films.
In Brazil, the event started at 9pm (Brasília time). Likewise, the international Emmy also received several Brazilians. Here, the team of presenters was made up of Luciano Huck, Angélica and Felipe Santana.
Only Rede Globo received 4 nominations in the global awards. In the soap opera category, “Amor de Mãe”; in the documentary, “Cercados; the series, “Diário de um Confinado” and, finally, the films and TV miniseries, “Todas as Mulheres do Mundo”.
Furthermore, in the artistic programming category, Brazil also made a point of being present. The one who was represented in this regard is the show “Emicida: AmarElo – É Tudo Pra Yesterday”, on Netflix.
International Emmy Winners

The International Emmy red carpet welcomed names such as Camila Pitanga, Bruno Mazzeo, Joana Jabace, Evandro Fioti, Emicida, Maria Ribeiro, Patricia Pedrosa, as well as Regina Casé, José Villamarin and Manuela Dias.
In the categories in which Brazil received Emmy nominations, productions from France, Thailand, Norway, China and New Zealand won. Thus, the winners were “Kubrick by Kubrick”, from France; “Hope Frozen: A Quest To Live Twice”, from Thailand; “Atlantic Crossing”, from Norway,” The Song of Glory”, from China and “Inside”, from New Zealand.
On the other hand, other categories highly anticipated by Emmy fans, such as actress and actor, had Hayley Squires and David Tennant as winners. In the case of the unscripted entertainment category, “The Masked Singer”, from the United Kingdom, won. The winning drama was “Tehran”, from Israel.
