Hungarian Slices – Panelaterapia

Hungarian Slices

Sweet cakes and pies

Do you remember the Rosca Natalina that I made using the recipe for Cinnamon Rolls? (look here). So, since that day I had the idea of doing Hungarian slices with that massa. I tested it and it worked really well!!!!

A massa The one I used was this: http://bit.ly/RoscaNatal

I opened the dough into two rectangles, spread them condensed milk and grated coconut in each of them, I made a roulade and sliced it. I brushed on some egg yolk and baked it at 180ºC for about 30 minutes (this time can vary a lot depending on the brand of oven).
After roasting and cooling I added a little more condensed milk over. I haven’t even finished making it and I’m already thinking about another recipe like this with a creamy guava filling. Jeez, fat head! :))

* Yield 24 units (2 batches equal to the one in the oven).
