Ingredients
- 4 eggs;
- 2 cups of wheat flour tea;
- 2 cups of sugar tea;
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder;
- 1 cup of boiling water.
Way of doing
To start this recipe, you need to separate 4 egg whites and 4 egg yolks. Then, beat the egg whites and keep them in the largest bowl of the mixer, add the 4 egg yolks with 1 cup of boiling water and beat. Do this process until it foams. Beating at a slow pace, add 2 cups of sugar.
After a few minutes, add 2 cups of wheat flour and continue beating until smooth. Do this for about 10 minutes until you turn off the mixer, adding the baking powder, egg whites and a wooden spoon. Now stir with circular movements from bottom to top.
Now spread margarine in the pan and sprinkle with wheat flour. Pour in the dough and then tap the pan a few times on a hard surface to eliminate air bubbles. Place in the oven at high temperature and bake for 10 minutes. Finally, lower it to medium temperature and leave it for approximately another 20 minutes.

To check if the cake is baked, insert a toothpick into the middle of the cake. When it comes out dry, it’s ready. Turn off the oven and remove the cake. Wait for it to cool before unmolding. It can serve as a base for roulades, stuffed cakes, birthday cakes or pavés.
