How to make nail polish dry faster?

Normally, the nail polish takes a little while to dry completely, and it is during this period that small accidents happen that ruin the nail. But with these tips that we will see below, this will never happen to you again:

1. Apply thin layers of nail polish

There are people who end up applying a single, very thick layer of nail polish, and sometimes even two. This may seem more efficient, however, this way the nail polish will take longer to dry, which is exactly what we don’t want. That’s why our first tip is to apply very thin layers of nail polish, a maximum of three. But the secret is to wait for each one to dry before applying the other layer. This way drying is faster and avoids setbacks.

2. Cold air blast to make the nail polish dry faster

Another very good tip is to use a hairdryer to help the nail polish dry faster. But to do this, it is important to use the dryer’s cold air jet, choosing the lowest power and leaving the device about 20 centimeters from the nails. If you leave it in hot air or too close, you could end up ruining your nail polish and leaving your nails with little dots.

3. Finalize com Top Coat

Top Coat is a great ally for manicures and helps a lot when it comes to making nail polish dry faster. This little product brings several benefits, in addition to helping to dry faster, it also provides more shine to the nails and increases the duration of the nail polish on the nail. Anyway, the correct way to use them is to apply a thin layer on your polished nails.

4. Ice water

This is one of the simplest and oldest tricks to help nail polish dry faster. To do this, take a bowl and add ice and place it in the freezer before applying the polish to your nails. After glazing, add cold water to the bowl and after about two minutes, dip your fingertips in and leave for another 3 minutes. This way the nail polish will dry quickly like magic.

5. Drop of olive oil or vegetable oil

If you don’t have a Top Coat, you can add a drop of olive oil or vegetable oil to the base of the nail after finishing the nail polish. Therefore, wait until the oil spreads over the entire nail and then place your fingers under running water. So, the water will make the nail polish drying more efficient and faster. Furthermore, the oil also prevents lint and particles from sticking to the still wet enamel.

6. Drying spray

Finally, we have a tip for those who want a more immediate effect, which is nail spray. In fact, it offers a cold, oily spray that causes a protective layer to form on the nails. This prevents fabric residue or dust from sticking to the nail polish, prevents bubbles from forming on the surface and also helps hydrate your nails.
