And, if liquid lipstick has already taken over your life and you no longer know what to do with those traditional bullet lipsticks that you have cluttered in your drawer, know that you can recycle them. Instead of wasting the poor thing, how about using it to make liquid lipstick at home?
Easy and cheap
Although the idea seems a bit complicated, the truth is that creating your own liquid lipstick doesn’t require any work. The blogger Zoha shows us how to do it, with a really cool video that she posted on her Instagram profile.
As you will see, all you will need to make liquid lipstick at home is a bullet lipstick and some face primer. It could be a little bit of the same stuff you use before putting on makeup, you know?
Step by step
The first thing is to cut off the lipstick. Then, she kneads it to give it a more pasty texture. To finish, she adds a little primer and mixes until everything is homogeneous.
To help put the new lipstick in its own packaging, the blogger uses a syringe. Then just make the transfer without too much mess.
Not cool? And the color is much more vibrant, as the primer helps to make it more intense and hydrating.
