What takes?
- 1 grated white paraffin candle
- Paper cups
- 1 glass cup or pot
- Colored crayons (at least 3 different colors)
- 1 wick
- 1 piece of metal or glass
- Essential oils of your choice
How to make?
1. The first thing to do is prepare the wick. To do this, place a piece of paraffin in a paper cup and melt it in the microwave. Then, you need to make a hole in the piece of metal or glass and pass the wick through it. To finish, place it in the glass or glass jar where the candle will be mounted, and pour in the melted paraffin.
NOTE: you can buy the candle base ready-made.
2. Crayon time has come. Each must be cut into small pieces.
3. Then, you need to place the paraffin and the cut crayons in paper cups and melt everything in the microwave. When they are liquid, stir until they become a homogeneous mass. Finish with the essential eyes and pour the colored mixture into the glass with a wick.
If you tilt the container, like in the photo, you will create more fun layers.
4. As soon as the first layer is cold and solid (and it needs to reach this point with the jar still crooked, to get the shape of the photo), you repeat the same procedure, only tilting the glass in another direction and pouring a mix of different colors.
5. The result, as you can see, is beautiful, very similar to the candles that we find ready to buy.
