Don’t know what else to do to make your baby fall asleep? This simple technique promises to put your baby to sleep in less than 1 minute.

They are cute, fragrant and lovable, but when they cry it’s hard not to despair, especially at night. If you no longer know what to do to regain control of the situation and make your baby sleep, here’s good news: a new technique on the internet promises to put your baby to dream in less than 1 minute!

The person who discovered the trick was Australian Nathan Dailo. In 2015, when his son Seth was just three months old, he noticed that if he used a tissue to touch the child’s face gently and repeatedly, the little baby would quickly fall asleep.

Nathan, a first-time father, was so happy to discover a way to make his baby sleep so instantly that he recorded the process and posted it online. The video has been very successful since then and today has almost 12 million views.

Does it have to be with tissue paper?

Now, if you don’t have a tissue at home, or a napkin, don’t go into an existential crisis. In the comments, Nathan said that any light touch on the baby’s forehead is just as effective in making the little creature fall asleep. The tissue thing, according to him, “is just funnier”.

But, of course, as human beings are very different from one another from birth, the tissue technique may not work on some babies. In fact, as you can see here, instead of making your baby sleep, it can even have the opposite effect. So, there’s no way around it: you need to test it at home.
