Aloo Qeema is a popular Pakistani dish made with minced meat (usually beef or mutton), potatoes, and spices. Here’s a simple recipe to cook Aloo Qeema in Pakistani style:

Ingredients:

– 1 kg minced meat (beef or mutton)
– 2 large onions, chopped
– 10 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1 inch ginger, grated
– 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
– 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
– 1 teaspoon coriander powder
– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1 teaspoon red chili powder
– Salt, to taste
– 1 cup ghee or oil
– Fresh cilantro/coriander leaves and green chilies for garnish

Instructions:

1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add onions. Cook until onions are translucent. Then add chopped/minced ginger and garlic.
3. Add the minced meat. Cook until it’s browned, breaking it up into small pieces and oil separates out.
4. Add 3 chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger garlic powder and salt. Mix well until tomatoes disappear. Add 2 cups of water and cover for 20 to 25 minutes in a low heat.
5. Add potatoes. Cover 10 minutes and cook until potatoes are tender.
6. Garnish with cilantro and serve with naan, rice, or roti.
