O Villa Marie Saint Tropez it is a five star boutique hotel in Ramatuelle, region of Saint Tropez. A ten-minute drive from the beach, it is set in a stunning and exclusive green area overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. In an Italian-style village, the hotel makes us feel like we are in the countryside, but when we look ahead we come across the bluest sea we have ever seen, in the bay of Pampelonne, known to those who spend the summer in the most glamorous resort in the world. France.
O Villa Marie offers guests every comfort, including transportation to the beach and/or the center of Saint Tropez several times a day. As we were driving, we didn’t use the transfer, but its location was actually good, as it is in a super calm and green place, but very close to the sea.
We went to Salins beach, (10/15 minutes from the hotel) which I highly recommend, and had lunch at the restaurant of the same name, simple and divine!
The center of Saint Tropez which is also worth a visit, it is the same distance away and is very easy to get to.
I couldn’t miss the famous Club 55, frequented by Brigitte Bardot, on Pamppelone beach.
Returning to the hotel, the pool is a story in itself, with incredible landscaping around it, in perfect contrast to the orange chairs, from where you don’t want to leave. To top it off, stones that touch the water give the look an even more dramatic look. It was so big and so well designed, it was difficult to choose the best angle for the photo.
I was enchanted by my room right away, super cozy, with a home feel, and with a bathroom that blends into the bedroom, which I found particularly charming (it was very common in France in the past). In lilac and white tones, the decor reflects the historic mansion where the hotel was built.
But the must It was the balcony, facing the green, with a small table and two chairs, and from where I took one of the most beautiful photos of the trip, which the likes on Instagram won’t let me lie (follow me there, it’s @youmustgoblog). The difficult part was choosing which one to post, from so many interesting angles it provided.
The hotel gardens were all very well maintained and each corner had a different look. Difficult to choose a favorite.
Inside the hotel, we also felt that feeling of being in someone’s home. The various rooms were inviting for reading or simply relaxing in the middle of the day.
With a very romantic atmosphere and perfect lighting, the hotel restaurant was where I had dinner on my first night. Since we were close to the sea, we ordered fish and for dessert, a red fruit tart, which was beautiful and delicious.
Breakfast, served on the friendly balcony, had everything we needed and a little more: a variety of breads and cakes, fruits, cheeses, yogurt, cereals, and a cook who makes eggs, omelettes, pancakes and waffles to order. . More luxury, impossible. Assorted juices and coffees were also available.
Like a good luxury hotelo Villa Marie It also has a spa – which looks great – and a small gym, for those more excited.
A charming retreat close enough to the hustle and bustle of mythical Saint Tropez.
