In the heart of Croisetteo Hotel Intercontinental Carlton Cannes, was founded in 1911 and is one of the best in the resort. Stars from all over the world have passed through it and frequent the legendary Cannes Film Festivalsince 1946.
In art deco style, this palace hotel, in front of the Mediterranean Sea, does not lose its glamor for anything. During major events, not just cinema events, it is always busy and becomes a meeting point for those passing through the resort.

The hotel has served as a location for films, commercials, photo shoots, shows and video clips, such as Elton John’s “I’m Still Standing” in 1983 and “World” by the band New Order in 1993.

As soon as we enter, we feel the grandeur of the lobby, with its very high ceilings, its marble floor, its red carpet and its various columns.

Like all luxury hotels of the city, the Hotel Intercontinental Carlton Cannes It has its own private beach, complete with chairs, tents and service on the sand (paid separately), as well as a very friendly restaurant on the seafront. I had an unforgettable lunch, with only light dishes (apart from dessert, oops!) facing the sea.

In addition to the beach restaurant, the Hotel Intercontinental Carlton Cannes It has its main restaurant, open for coffee, lunch and dinner and with a pleasant balcony.

The bar, always popular, offers a range of drinks and an excellent wine list.

There are 343 rooms, divided into 5 categories, in a building designated historic by the government of Francewhich is really beautiful, both during the day and lit up at night.

The rooms are comfortable, with a spacious bed, desk, armchairs, large closet and equally large bathroom, with shower and bathtub, as well as two sinks.

The entire hotel staff was very friendly during my stay, always willing to help. The concierge team is also helpful, with several suggestions on what to do on the tip of your tongue.

The hotel has a top-notch spa, as well as a fitness center.

O Hotel Intercontinental Carlton Cannes is a classic in France and a mandatory stop, even if just to have a drink facing the Mediterranean. In our YouTube video, you can learn a little more about the Côte D’Azur:
