In addition to hamburgers, USA are also known for their delicious cookies. Anyone who spends time in the country cannot go without eating at least some. The Brazilian Danilo Mansurwho is living in the United States, took advantage of a weekend to visit Atlanta and ended up discovering one of the best cookies which he already tasted at the hotel he stayed at. At the invitation of This World is OursDanilo tells us where and how to find this American wonder:
Hotel DoubleTree offers free delicious cookies
Anyone who likes American food should read this post. On my recent trip to Atlanta with my family, we discovered a very pleasant and delicious surprise when staying at the hotel DoubleTree from the Web Hilton. The hotel offers free cookies for all guests when they check in. Discovering that these delicacies were available throughout our stay was even more pleasurable!
This cookie is made in the hotel’s own kitchen and baked in a quantity of 700 units per day in that location (60,000 across the network). When ready, they are kept in an electric oven at reception. This way the chocolate is melted and the cookies are very soft. In addition to chocolate, the hotel adds barely noticeable pieces of nuts, oats and a touch of cinnamon. Result: the cookie is unmissable.
There are reports of guests deciding to stay at DoubleTree just because of these cookies. The hotel also offers these cookies to order across the DoubleTree network at a price of US$10.95 for every 6 units. You can order and pick up at the hotel closest to where you are. As breakfast is paid for, a good hint is to request cookies at reception when you wake up, as you can order as many as you want, and eat with the coffee available free of charge in the rooms. However, be careful with your diet: each cookie has 310 kcal. But it’s worth! The best I’ve ever eaten to date.
